The early game in Forge of Empires is all about growing steadily without wasting resources. Try not to rush through ages too quickly.

• Keep enough houses for balanced population. Too high and happiness drops.
• Build supply buildings early, collect frequently to gather supplies
• Keep roads to a minimum, they waste space if not straight and efficienty laid out.
• Save Forge Points where possible
• Join an active guild quickly
• Complete recurring quests for rewards
• Aid all your friends, neighbours and guild every day and get blueprints for Great Buildings quickly, plus other random rewards like supplies, goods and forgepoints

Forge Points (FPs) are the most valuable resource in the game. They are used for:

• Research
• Great Buildings
• Trading in 1.9 threads
• Sniping opportunities

Never spend FPs carelessly on random Great Buildings.

A good guild is the difference between slow progress and rapid growth.

• Guild members help motivate buildings
• You gain access to Guild Expedition with better rewards in higher leagues
• Guild Battlegrounds (GbG) gives rewards, participation will be required in good guilds
• Higher guilds run fast 1.9 threads, offer free help with new GBs, and offer speed leveling (ask leaders in your guild).

Arc

The Arc boosts rewards from other players' Great Buildings, helps store Forge Points (FPs), and gives goods for the guild's treasury. Most guilds and experienced players consider it essential.

Zeus / Cathederal of Aachen (CoA) / Castel del Monte (CdM)

These improve attack strength and are extremely valuable early.

Avoid Overbuilding

Do not build every Great Building you unlock. Many are inefficient for beginners.

A 1.9 thread is a guild system used to safely level Great Buildings.

The owner of the building contributes enough Forge Points to “lock” reward spots. Guild members then add Forge Points to secure positions using Arc bonuses.

Why is it called 1.9?

Because players with a level 80 Arc receive 1.9x rewards. Example:

• Normal reward = 100 FP
• Arc reward = 190 FP

Guild 1.9 threads require understanding to calculate the exact safe amount needed.

Basic Example

• Guild member posts: “P1(190)”
• You add exactly 190 FP
• Your position becomes locked safely, noone can add 191fp and steal your "spot".
• When the building levels, you profit from Arc rewards

How To Use It (when you open it first time on your phone you'll see a blue Tutorial button to the right of the Great Building selection dropdown box).

1. Enter the building owner’s Arc bonus
2. Enter your own Arc bonus
3. Type current Forge Points invested
4. Enter remaining Forge Points needed
5. The calculator shows safe positions and costs
